DATA STORE ORACLE DBA ENGINEER (JOB NUMBER: ROM000122)

DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE

BNP Paribas through is looking for an Data Store Oracle DBA Engineer to reinforce the Linux / Unix Databases squad. The squad is part of the IT Middleware Services Tribe and the missions of this squad are among other things to maintain the Oracle environment (about 900 Oracle instances), ensure data integrity and a high level of availability and provide support to developers.

MISSION

• Migrate of databases from legacy to cloud

• Performance and tuning of Oracle databases.

• Ensure data integrity and maintain a high level of systems availability.

• Maintain multiple Oracle databases following the cloud architecture and standards.

• Develop scripts, while providing documentation and procedures.

• Provide support to developers.

• Manage internal security in the Oracle databases

ROLE REQUIRMENETS

• At least 3 years of experience in Linux or Unix environments

• Cloud (IaaS, PaaS)

• In depth knowledge of Oracle databases 12c R1 and 19c

• Knowledge in performance and tuning of Oracle databases

• In depth knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).

• Knowledge of Quest TOAD

• Good knowledge with PL/SQL

• DataGuard knowledge is a nice to have

• AIX/Linux server administration knowledge

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB is an added value

• ITIL Foundation knowledge will be desirable

• On site presence (hybrid mode) and on call support is expected
